its first flagship branch in the Philippines. PastaMania Philippines first store
is located at SM, South Mall.
PastaMania is one of the largest Italian restaurant chain in

The PastaMania story started
with Timothy Ghinn, an expatriate European working in Singapore in the 1990s,
with a simple question. “Why was it possible to find good local food at
affordable prices, while good Italian cuisine was so expensive”? What’s more, Timothy wanted a wide
selection so that he had the choice to have great tasting Italian food everyday
for a fortnight; at everyday prices. This was not only a question, but an
ambitious and lofty goal. In 1998, Timothy took his dream to Scotts Shopping
Centre in downtown Singapore and opened the first PastaMania store. Shortly
after, Timothy sold his shares to the Singapore’s GlobaMatrix Holdings Group
(now Commonwealth Capital Group), who built the brand further into one that has
now grown to become Singapore’s Largest Italian Chain, and has spread its
presence to more than 50 outlets in 12 countries. Accelerating its expansion
plan, the next 5 years for PastaMania looks poised to be even rosier than the

I am very thankful and excited to visit the newly opened
PastaMania here in our Country, because I read wonderful feedbacks and articles
about this restaurant and I ask my sister about here amazing experience of
working in PastaMania Singapore as an intern; she said that the Pasta and Pizza
are taste good and the foods are world class dishes. She is totally jealous of
me because of this experienced and she totally misses the pasta dishes.
So here is my top 10 list that I love about PastaMania
Philippines SM Southmall branch.
1. Remarkable dining ambiance - I totally love the
theme of the restaurant, I feel like I am eating in Paris. The outlet is
designed in accordance with the Italian concept, which means City Square.
2. Offers more - I also love the Panificio an
Italian bakery, Alementari a grocery shop and Gelato cart that can be found
outside the restaurant.
3. Signature dishes and menu - PastaMania offers
lots of dishes or extensive menu of close to 136 choices. And the best part of
these customers can customize their meal by choosing the type of pasta they
wanted such as linguine, spaghetti, penne, fusilli and wholemeal.
4. Pasta that I love - the best two pasta that I love are Marinara and Polling Alla Milanse

8. Kids Engagement Program - Kids also love making their own pizza. Doughworkz is a pasta and pizza-making program customized for children 4 to 12 years old. They will love the hands on experience that helps nourish the kids mind and body while the fun facts of food preparation and equipment are expanding their food culinary experience. This is a great bonding for kids and parents.
