FIRST SUNSET MARATHON TO HAPPEN ON DECEMBER 9 

RUNRIO partners with Tourism Board of the Philippines and Clark Development Corporation for a running event that aims to promote night running in the Philippines. Manila, Philippines - November 16, 2017- RUNRIO and the Clark Development Corporation announces the upcoming Clark Sunset Marathon happening on December 9, 2017, at the Parade Grounds of Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga at 4pm. It is the first of its kind ever conceptualized in the Philippines.

The Philippines Commission of Health Research and Development (PCHRD) partnership with Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Council of Health Research and Development (COHRED), proudly bring to us its first running event titled RUN 4 HEALTH RESEARCH.

The objective of this promotional event is to disseminate information and raise the awareness of the citizens in the international strategies in health research relevant to the public service and national development, said by PCHRD Executive Director Dr. Jaime Montoya.

WORLD MILK DAY - ALASKA FAMILY RUN

Looking for a perfect bonding moment with your family or friends. World Milk Day is celebrated annually in many countries worldwide, providing an opportunity to focus attention on milk as a global food central to health and well-being across cultures and nations, and to highlight the contributions connected with milk and the overall dairy industry. To celebrate this year, Alaska will have a running event with four (6) categories: 100m & 1KM for kids, 3KM, 3KM Family, 5KM and 10KM. Alaska Family Run celebrates Family bonding of going out and enjoying fun activities together like running. They will launch the Milk Hour in (6 am) in four different locations; Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao. This activity aims to promote proper nutrition for kids. Different popular personalities, health advocates and sports enthusiasts will take the part to participate in this running events to support also the beneficiary foundation CHILDREN HOUR.

The Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, also known as the Sacramentinos, is a clerical religious institute of pontifical rights composed of priests, deacons, and brothers. It’s ideal is to honor the Blessed Sacrament by living a life of intense prayer and apostolic zeal. Currently, the Congregation has 69 seminarians in the different levels of formation. It relies much on the generosity of benefactors and sponsors who provide for monthly formation subsidy. It is for this reason that our Congregation will engage to a fund raising event called TAKBOKASYON A FUN RUN FOR A CAUSE Proceeds of this event will fund the education of the seminarians. Now Its time to run and help them to continue the spreading the Gospel of our Lord!
